Miranda Lambert covers the newest issue of Redbook to talk everything from married life, why she still doesn’t like Chris Brown, and why she won’t let her hubby Blake Shelton sign too many autographs.
Miranda Lambert, if you aren’t familiar, is married to “The Voice” judge Blake Shelton and a country singer in her own right.
Back when Chris Brown performed two sets at the 2012 Grammys, Miranda Lambert went OFF on Twitter. She wrote: “Chris Brown twice? I don’t get it. He beat on a girl…Not cool that we act like that didn’t happen.”
Miranda is now explaining WHY she spoke her mind about Chris.
“I didn’t feel right about not saying something. The loudmouth that I am, I say what I think. I wanted everyone to know that I don’t agree with the message it’s sending to young women. It’s not okay. At all,” she told Redbook.
By now you might have gathered that Chris Brown’s “Team Breezy” are some of the most obsessive fans on Twitter, naturally, his fans ATTACKED Miranda for her words.
But she stands by her comments, saying, “To be celebrated after doing something like that. I don’t think it’s right, I never will, and I will stand by what I said till the day that I die.”
Ok, I’m over this.
Let’s hear something cute about Blake Shelton, because he is just the dreamiest.
“When I go to 'The Voice' set and everyone says, ‘Blake’s been talking about you so much,’ it just makes me feel special, you know?’” Miranda gushes.
Also, Miranda says she has to stop Blake from being overly friendly to fans.
“He’s the sweetest guy. Like, he will talk to anyone, sign anything, take a picture with everyone. And if I don’t stop it at some point, it ruins our whole night. I have to be the bad guy,” she jokes.
