Like most things she does, Kate Middleton made one of the most difficult tasks known to man—pregnancy—look easy.
And that’s because it kind of was, to Kate anyway. #JustGaveBirthToFutureHeir #KateMiddletonShrug #NBD
In Vanity Fair’s October issue, sources close to Kate spoke about her nine months of pregnancy and the few weeks since welcoming George Alexander Louis with Prince William.
“She spoke to some of her best girlfriends after the birth and described the birth as perfect,” a source told the publication’s resident royals reporter Katie Nicholl. “She said it was straightforward and there were no complications. She wanted a natural birth and she was so happy she was able to have one.”
Kate hardly seemed to be pregnant at all; the only giveaway being her tummy.
Even a day after giving birth, her baby bump was ever so slight, something she easily covered up with a Jenny Packham dress, which she chose the afternoon she stepped out “because her tummy was still very rounded and she decided there was no point trying to hide her bump, so she went for a flattering dress that showed off her curves,” a source said.
It’s been a couple months since the birth and according to an Us Weekly report; she’s already lost the little baby weight she accrued. “You could hardly tell she had just given birth,” said the source. No more dieting for the Duchess, just breastfeeding, which has also helped melt off the baby weight.
