Here’s a combination you didn’t expect for Justin Timberlake’s upcoming tour…
It has been announced that the “Suit & Tie” singer will play a five-night residency with late-night whippersnapper Jimmy Fallon.
The singer is scheduled to perform every night on “Late night with Jimmy Fallon” between March 11 and March 15.
(Take a second to allow this news and your mixed feelings to settle in… Finished? Good, now continue reading.)
“His visit will mark the first time any featured artist has appeared in every show during a single week!” Fallon told the Los Angeles Times.
What’s more, the appearance on the NBC late night talk show will come after JT guest stars and performs on Saturday Night Live March 9. This will be Timberlake’s fifth appearance on the long-running sketch comedy series.
The week-long network television streak will serve as a leadup to the release of his highly anticipated, ten-years-in-the-making-studio-album, The 20/20 Experience, scheduled to hit shelves March 19.
In other JT news… The constant crooner has announced his summer tour via Twitter with the message: “What are you doing this summer?!?! #LegendsOfTheSummer.”
Along with the message was a link to a site page that reads: “Legends of Summer Stadium Tour… Justin… Jay-Z.” Boom…
Screw the year of the snake… It officially just became the year of Justin Timberlake.
