It was probably one of the most anticlimactic celebrity feuds of all time. But, now, it's over...
On Day 1 of “Timberweek” on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” Monday “Suit & Tie” singer Justin Timberlake kicked things off by denouncing any kind of hard feelings between him and his recent press nemesis, Kanye West. Yes, Justin Timberlake has professed his man-love for Yeezy.
“Let me just, for the record,” Timberlake said. “I absolutely love Kanye. So there's that. We love Kanye, right?”
Fallon asked JT about his ongoing feud with West, which he seemed to address during a performance on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”
Timberlake changed the lyrics to his new hit “Suit & Tie” from “aww, s**t so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit” to "my hit's so sick got rappers acting dramatic."
“Did it seem that way?” Timberlake asked Fallon, playing coy. “I don't remember that … Did I change a line? It is live … You know, really, everyone, keep calm.”
So, yes… Justin disputed the feud, but didn’t necessarily apologize for fueling it to begin with.
As we previously learned, this whole mess sparked when Kanye ranted about JT and Jay-Z's collaboration, saying, “I got love for Hov, but I ain't f*ckin' with that ‘Suit & Tie,” during a performance in London last month.
Your move, Kanye… After all, we hardly expect you to let this one go. It's just not like you.
