Honestly, at this point, we don’t think Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are getting hitched anymore and here’s why:
According to People, Jen’s wedding, which was supposed to happen in March, and then was pushed to May, is now put on hold for…never?
According to a source, wedding plans have “slowed down” because the couple got too “busy.”
Who uses, “we’re busy” as a reason to put a wedding on hold? Everyone’s busy. And if they truly were getting hitched in “the spring” like all the magazines insisted, we’re pretty sure a “save the date” would have been sent out at some point. Can they realistically just be like, “oh, we’ll get married eventually?”
We think there’s some trouble in paradise. The source claims, “wedding talk has stopped” because “there are other priorities [besides marriage].” Apparently they both signed on for new acting jobs which start filming soon.
Oh also, the “construction delays” on the house ruined everything because the wedding was supposed to take place there, even though Jen reportedly moved into the house this weekend.
We just think these are a lot of lame excuses to not get hitched. Also, this is Jen’s second marriage and Justin doesn’t seem like a very traditional guy (i.e. large beard, leather jacket), so why is walking down the aisle THAT big of a deal? If they really wanted to be man and wife, they’d just elope already. And that is our expert non-married opinion, so…
“They need to figure out a way to create a life that makes them both happy,” adds the source.
