Don’t you just love it when a bride-to-be has absolutely NO IDEA that she’s about to be proposed to? Like the couple literally just talked about “taking a break” and he was all like “I can’t commit” and then BOOM he gets down on one knee and she’s all like “ERMAHGERD!”

This is roughly what happened to Jennifer Aniston, whose boyfriend Justin Theroux popped the question in August.

“The proposal was one of the sneakiest jobs I’ve ever seen,” Jen tells People, “I had no idea.”

She also said, because of the surprise, she obviously couldn’t help design the engagement ring, but says Justin knows her so well so he picked out the perfect bling.

“The biggest story right now is that I have a beautiful partner and a lot of joy. Every. Single. Day. I didn't know what I wanted for a ring. He just knows what I like.”

I’m really surprised Jen talked about her private life to a magazine. Take it all in, this is a rare occasion.

Jen, whose usual style consists of LBDs and the same hairstyle for the last 15 years, as expected, won’t be stepping outside the box on her wedding day.

“A bride should look like herself. If you try something new, you'll feel uncomfortable," says the actress.

Jen appeared on “Chelsea Lately” earlier this week and when she talked about her engagement, started to tear up.

“I just got verklempt” Jen joked as she wiped away the tears. Awwwww.

The wedding will probably be in one of Jen’s fave destinations (i.e. Hawaii or Mexico) and since she has more celebrity friends than there are people in the city of Los Angeles, a source revealed, “They are still keen on a beach wedding in Hawaii or Mexico towards the end of the year, but Jen wants it to be more like a massive party and, at the moment, it looks like it could stretch over three days. Half of Hollywood will be there too.”
