Halle Berry’s still got it. Not that anyone ever doubted she didn’t. (And if you did, then you’re just in serious denial over your need for prescription glasses and remind me to never get in a car with you.)
The 46-year-old fountain of youth stepped out for Variety’s annual Power of Women event at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel last Friday in Beverly Hills, California.
How stunning did she look at the afternoon gathering of powerful industry females? Let’s just say Halle wore a navy Roland Mouret dress that screamed so much class and chic it made me forget for 12 seconds that she was in Catwoman. It was that stunning.
Accompanied by French beau, her fiancé Olivier Martinez, Halle was given star-studded props for her charity work with The Jenesse Center, a Los Angeles non-profit that provides support services on domestic violence intervention and issues.
Other honorees included Sue Kroll, Jessica Biel, Felicity Huffman, Katherine Heigl, and Queen Latifah, in addition to Halle, who also inspired entertainment peers and fans, women and men alike, with their charitable work this year—from cancer research to scholarship funds. Attendees like Jennifer Garner, Stacy Keibler, and Justin Timberlake were there to show their support.
Halle shows up in her upcoming film Cloud Atlas three times (she plays three separate characters in the sci-fi drama) this October 26. She also has a thriller called The Hive and an ensemble comedy with every celebrity you can think of called Movie 43, both in post-production. Truthfully, doesn’t matter to much what they’re about, the more Berry to spread around, the better.
