"There's been talk on set of Cheryl appearing for a year or so, but it's set to happen now.”
Lynch says that co-star Matthew Morrison, who worked with Cole on What to Expect When You’re Expecting “has spoken very highly of her and the younger guys on set are keen to have her on, for obvious reasons.”
“Matthew's chatted to her and she seems keen. Cheryl's the perfect 'Glee' fit, she can sing, she can dance and she looks good. It would be cool if she played herself."
Then making light of Cole’s short lived stint on the “The X Factor” after Simon Cowell fired her as a judge, Lynch remarked, "She might be used to getting treated like a princess but Sue Sylvester doesn't make exceptions for anybody. If Cheryl starts acting like a diva, she'll see that Sue is meaner than Simon Cowell."
Though it's still a few months away, the buzz of guest stars for this coming season has been brewing for a while. Cole joins a list that so far includes Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson.
For those of you who can’t wait to "Gleek Out," Season 4 premieres September 13 on FOX.
