Art, it’s not for everyone.
It’s not for the kid who routinely fell asleep in your “Intro to the Renaissance” course in college, because we all needed that G.E. credit. It’s not for people who pick up a book at Barnes & Noble and mull, “Eh, I’ll just watch the movie.” It’s also not for Brad Pitt.
Brad, who is a longtime supporter of the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art (LACMA), wanted to be more involved with the center as a member on the board of directors, but apparently he isn’t smart enough to sit alongside LA’s art scene elite.
“Brad has always supported the museum,” a source said in a report, “so he asked if he could participate on a higher level.”
“But while the committee admires Brad’s ambition, the fear is that he might be a little on the dumb side to serve an art board,” the source added. “He doesn’t even have a college degree.”
The 49-year-old actor, who’s also a craftsman in his own right, could do a lot for the world famous museum as far as bringing further attention to its exhibitions. But he can’t, if this report is to be believed. He dumb. Brad dumb.
