Sara Leal went public about her fling with Ashton Kutcher, dishing about every dirty detail. But now, she regrets her actions. Because she ruined a marriage, right? Nope, because she had to suffer her own consequences.
Leal told Fox411: “I got fired from my job. I am no longer friends with my best friend who was my roommate because it caused so many problems and I had to move out. I wasn’t working for two months, and I only just started working three weeks ago. I had no idea what I was getting myself into.”
Man, I feel really bad for Sara Leal. Maybe we should set up some sort of charitable foundation in her name and get Angelina Jolie to direct a movie about her story.
The 22 year-old decided to go public with her story in September, recounting her risqué night with the Two and a Half Men star, including the unprotected sex they had at the Hard Rock hotel in San Diego.
She reportedly earned $200,000 from her tell-all, which included a photo shoot where she sits on a couch without any shoes on. Because nothing says, “I’m not a slut, I’m a human being” like going barefoot.
Leal also claims she was living under a rock:
“I don’t watch television and I read very few magazines. It never crossed my mind that he was married. But then he said he was separated, which still doesn’t make things okay, but I wasn’t thinking clearly. He was a good-looking guy and it was stupid. When people say to me ‘I can’t believe you did that’ I want to say back that most 22-year-old girls in my position would have done the same thing.”
This is the part where Sara Leal has a point. Because I can see most 22 year-old college girls being down for a romp in the sack with the dude from That 70s show. But I’m not sure that, after the jello shots wear off, most 22 year-olds would publicly announce they single-handedly ruined a marriage.
When asked whether she’d have hooked up with Ashton knowing what the fallout would be, Leal said:
“No way! It was insane. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. It might have seemed like I was asking for it, but I wasn’t. My dad wouldn’t even talk to me, and I got a lot of disturbing phone calls, even from my friends’ parents.”
Sara says despite all the scandalous photos released of her, she’s not a “crazy slut party girl”
“I’ve had one boyfriend since I lived in San Diego, and those pictures were one weekend out of my life that painted the worst image of me ever. I was a mess for two weeks straight it was so horrible.”
Since the Ashton drama, Sara found a new job as an executive assistant at a real estate company in San Diego. Also, she’s training to become a yoga instructor.
