Zach And Miri Make A Porno Gets Banned

The new comedy Zach And Miri Make A Porno has been banned in several U.S. cinemas. The movie stars Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks as two friends who decide to make a porno movie to make cash, since they’re completely broke. Not surprisingly, the theaters banning the flick are in Utah. The Megaplex Theaters in Utah towns Salt Lake City, Ogden, Lehi, and Sandy have opted not to show Rogen’s new movie because of its sex and nudity scenes. The managers over at the theaters think the content of the movie is just a tad too much for their conservative viewers.

A spokesperson for the chain tells Page Six, "We feel it’s very close to an NC-17 with its graphic nudity and graphic sex." On the other end of the spectrum, earlier this month, Banks branded America’s movie rating board sexist after they initially rated the film NC-17. It was later changed to R-rated after studio bosses won an appeal to have it lowered.
