X-Factor Host Steve Jones: I'll Date Nicole Scherzinger if I Get Fired

The best part about maybe getting fired from The X Factor, is that you can ask out a former Pussycat Doll. It was reported that host Steve Jones was getting fired from the X-Factor, and then reports said that no decision had been made about next season either way. However, The X Factor host (who crowned winner Melanie Amaro last night) says if he does get axed from the show, he’ll use it as an opportunity to ask out judge Nicole Scherzinger.

"She's smokin' hot but we're colleagues and good friends. If I ever leave 'X Factor', Scherzinger's phone will be smoking hot from me ringing it constantly because if we're not colleagues … Oh, she's fair game. Oh yeah!” Jones told OK magazine.

This is equal parts creepy and endearing. It’s like he’s passing by her judges seat everyday and saying, “Just you wait…once I get fired, I’m coming for ya!” And then he rubs his hands together in the creepy way that they do in R&B music videos.

The reports that he was getting fired were just rumors, but his performance as the show’s host has been critiqued all season, or as my mom likes to say: “When did Ryan Seacrest get so tall and bad at talking?”

However, I doubt he’ll wanna date Scherzinger as many rumors are floating around that she’ll become the next host.

Jones shouldn’t have a problem getting a date with Scherzinger, he has dated a slew of hot Hollywood women including Paris Hilton (What?!), Pamela Anderson (How old is this guy?) and Halle Berry (Now, how did he pull that one off?).
