Wilmer Valderrama: It Was 'Awesome' Working With Ex Demi Lovato

It’s a superhero campaign with a Latin twist…

Actor Wilmer Valderrama has teamed up with “The X Factor” judge Demi Lovato to promote Latin voting in an action-packed PSA. The duo star as secret agent partners with a mission to fight against voter neglect.

Hollyscoop caught up at the Wilmer at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights' Eyegore Awards to get the 411 on working with his ex.

“It was awesome,” said Wilmer on working with Demi.

The statement comes after the couple ended their romance together earlier this year.

But, for the “That ‘70s Show” star, the PSA shoot played out more like an action movie, rather than a trip down breakup memory lane.

“We had me, Demi and a leopard. It was a really crazy campaign and we are about to reveal it in a couple days,” he said. “I shot it like I was shooting The Avengers.”

The appearance is part of a campaign called Voto Latino, aimed at a energizing that young Latino American community to get up and make it to the polls this November.

“I am the chairman of Voto Latino, which is a voter registration organization. Rosario Dawson and I started it years ago,” he said. “It is a really vital tool that the community has.”

Along with doing good for the country, Wilmer has been busy keeping his acting career alive and kicking, starring in a upcoming Spike Lee-produced thriller, The Girl Is in Trouble.

Not only that, but Hollyscoop can officially confirm that the actor is on the cusp of a high profile return to network television.

“I just signed a contract with FOX and I am going to creating and producing my return to television,” he said. “I really want to do a comedy because I miss making people laugh.”

While it’s still up in the air as to the direction – either drama or comedy – for the new TV project, with Wilmer at the reins it’s bound to be gripping… Or, hilarious!

Other than “That ‘70s Show,” Wilmer’s other television credits include the “Handy Manny” and “Awake.”

Oh, and one other thing… Any ladies out there fantasizing about some little real-life Fez action, you’re in luck!

When asked if he was available, Wilmer answered, “Of course I am single!!!”
