Will.i.am says Justin Bieber needs more "relationship drama" to make him successful.

The Black Eyed Peas producer has been working with Justin on his new album and talks to Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM and says Bieber needs to "hurt" in order to have future success, "He's gonna hurt. He's going to go through relationship drama [and that will make him successful]" says Will.i.am.

I think we forget that Bieber is only 17, how much drama does he really need? When I was 17 my only drama was deciding whether I should buy an ugly prom dress from Wet Seal or an uglier prom dress from Forever 21.

But Will.i.am thinks only the best artists became the best because of their pain. "Justin as an artist has to fight. Michael Jackson fought, Prince fought, the ones that stood around for a long time are...

Will.i.am showed up to the VMAS last night in a blackface and black leather jumpsuit, and it’s causing quite stir. He didn’t walk the white carpet, opting instead to save his surprise get-up for the ceremony.

He took the stage with Nicky Minaj to perform “Check It Out,” so all the millions of viewers could see the entire look. But he was reportedly slammed via Twitter for the blackface get-up.

But will.i.am responded to the backlash, saying, “1st. just because I where all black including head mask as expression and emphasize my outfit, it shouldn't be looked at as racial...”

“Let go of the past. there are far more important things 2 bark about. (Jobs, health, education) not a black man wearing all black everything.”

“Are you guys serious? my outfit set "black people back 100 yrs" choose your twits wisely. no education sets people back, no jobs, bad health.”

We don’t know how people could possibly interpret will.i.am’s wardrobe as racist, but we suppose they just needed someone to talk about! What do you think of the blackface outfit?

Black Eyed Peas singer Will.i.am is doing his part to promote the importance of education to his young fans. As successful as he is, will.iam never got the opportunity to attend college.

He grew up poor in Los Angeles himself, but now wants to make a difference for his fans who are in similar situations as he was. After DJing a party at an event, will.i.am decided to create the i.am.scholarship fund, which is helping a few lucky college hopefuls!

He tells People, "I did the math and I could send three kids to school. It's one thing to make it – and you've got your own apartment, or house, or car – and you keep it for you. That's not making it. Making it is spreading it."

Will.i.am hopes that through his fund he can help young people achieve their dreams of making a difference in this world. "You watch the news and you've got Obama talking about our health reform, you got Al Qaeda, you have the economy, and nobody's talking about education," he says. "And that is the scariest, because we could have a nation full of dummies."

The kids are asked to keep a GPA of at least 2.8, and will.i.am has promised to reward their good grades with travel all around the world! What an awesome program!

Perez Hilton has had many feuds ever since he began his blogging career with his website perezhilton.com (formerly pagesixsixsix.com) five years ago. The self-proclaimed, "Queen of All Media" has made a career--and his fortune—off of controversies; however, his latest spectacle may bring the Internet czar to his downfall.

During an altercation with the Black Eyed Peas' Will.i.am at the Much Music Awards in Canada, Perez called him a f**king f*ggot," which resulted in an media uproar.

How can Perez call Will.iam a "f*ggot" when he is the one who publicly led the crusade to legalize gay marriage? This is the same guy who called for the firing of Isaiah Washington from ABC television series Grey's Anatomy for making the same homophobic remarks and called for his readers to do the same.

The man who has made millions off of his loyal readers is now in risk of losing them. There are currently petitions floating around the Internet asking that his site be removed and another petition asking that his nomination for the Teen Choice Awards be recalled.

Perez is nominated for the “Choice Music: Fab-u-lous” and “Choice Web Star” categories, but 100,000 signatures could change everything. There are also other petitions asking that Perez be removed from radio stations, TV shows and off the internet entirely.

Perez's celebrity "friends" have also turned against the blogger. John Mayer recently blasted him on twitter calling him a "Dumb S**t" that "lacks control." KTLA news anchor Sam Rubin dedicated a part of his morning broadcast slamming Perez for dishing the dirt and not being able to take it himself.

The gay community, who is the backbone for his success isn’t happy with his derogatory anti-gay slurs and find Perez "dangerous." Perez's anti gay slurs against Will.i.am has even upset GLAAD, the same organization that gave him his first job in Hollywood. GLAAD released a statement saying, "for someone in our own community to use it to attack another person by saying that it is, quote, 'The worst possible thing that thug would ever want to hear,' is incredibly dangerous."

Instead of apologizing for his behavior, Perez released his own statement playing the victim and said that GLAAD was "criticizing me for how I non-violently dealt with a very scary situation."

While he may not have thrown a punch, his words were violent enough. His pompous attitude about the situation, repeatedly calling Will.i.am a "thug disguised as a musician," is just pitiful and pathetic. Interestingly enough, Perez is actually shocked by the backlash. Does he think he can just walk up to people, instigate drama, use derogatory comments and walk away brushing the dirt off his shoulders?

During a recent poll, 91% of Hollyscoop readers sided with Will.i.am. Reader ness01 even commented, "If Will.I.Am would of called him the "F" word it would of been a scandal. Perez thinks he can use it & its ok, no its not."

Unfortunately for Perez Hilton, the world doesn’t revolves around him. He can dish it but he can't take it? It’s time for Mario Armando Lavandeira to get a taste of his own medicine.

Perez Hilton made headlines yesterday for claiming Will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas attacked him. It turns out it actually wasn't Will.i.am, but his manager. Although his manager already turned himself in to the Police as the attacker, Perez is still slamming him to the world.

The argument originally started when Fergie approached Perez asking him why he was slamming the Black Eyed Peas new album, and it escalated from there.

Fergie has an army of supporters and fans, including her mother Terri Jackson, who are standing by her side and are even convinced Fergie "could have taken him down."

Fergie's mother talked to Hollyscoop at the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie premiere in Los Angeles Monday night about the feud and what they really think about Perez.

"Thank God it wasn’t Fergie," Terri told Hollyscoop, "I think she could have taken him out," she joked.

When asked what she thought about Perez and his comments about celebrities, Fergie's sister Dana Ferguson told us, "Perez always seems to have his opinion on everything and it seems to clash with a lot of people, and I think he does that on purpose sometimes and sometimes he's gonna get some backlash."

Fergie's father Pat Ferguson was so upset with him he told us, "You don’t want my opinion on Perez Hilton!"

While Fergie was MIA due to work obligations, her family came out to support their son-in-law Josh Duhamel, who stars in the movie.

Sorry Perez, but it looks like the world is siding with Will.i.am and the Black Eyed Peas on this one. Even GLAAD is upset with Perez for the comments he made during the argument. Whose side are you on? Check out our exclusive interview below.

GLAAD (The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) is not only pissed at Perez Hilton for his anti-gay slur to the Black Eyed Peas' Will.i.am, they want him to issue a public apology for his absurd behavior.

Perez made headlines yesterday when a video surfaced on the internet in which he called Will.i.am a "f**king f*ggot."

GLAAD said, "We have reached out to Hilton and asked him to apologize for promoting this anti-gay slur, and we would ask media outlets to avoid repetition of the slur in their coverage of this story.

For someone in our own community to use it to attack another person by saying that it is, quote, 'The worst possible thing that thug would ever want to hear,' is incredibly dangerous.

It legitimizes use of a slur that is often linked to violence against our community. And it sends a message that it is OK to attempt to dehumanize people by exploiting anti-gay attitudes."

But instead of apologizes, Perez has issued his own statement about how pissed he is about GLAAD being pissed at him and he wants an apology from them now! Here's what he had to say:

"I am saddened GLAAD chose to victimize me further by criticizing me for how I non-violently dealt with a very scary situation that, unfortunately, turned violent. While I doubt I will get an apology from GLAAD, nor do I expect one, I would just hope people know how difficult it is to intellectualize a situation and think rationally when a thug disguised as a musician is screaming at your face and intimidating you. I am just very fortunate and grateful that nothing more serious happened to me."

We're giving this one to GLAAD. Perez shouldn't have used that language against Will.i.am. Perez also claimed he was beaten by Will.i.am, but according to Police, it was Will.i.am's manager who threw the first punch. He already turned himself in and Perez is still on a rampage attacking Will.i.am. Whose side are you on?

Talk about Monday morning drama! Will.i.am has been accused of assault by Perez Hilton. Both of them attended the Much Music Awards in Toronto and after the show Perez twittered that he was attacked:
  • I'm in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please.
  • I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.
  • Still waiting for the police. The bleeding has stopped. I need to document this. Please, can the police come to the SoHo Met Hotel.
  • I spoke to my lawyer. I really need to talk to the authorities. Please come to the SoHo Met Hotel. Have called the police. Need them here.
  • The Toronto police are here now. Thank you. Please stop calling them.
Well, it turns out that Perez might have been a little delusional because Will.i.am was not the one who assaulted him. The police have cleared Will.i.am of any wrong doing and he is not even a suspect. Will.i.am actually kept it pretty cool considering the fact that Perez was trying pretty hard to instigate a fight by calling him names.

The general manager of the Black Eyed Peas -- Polo Molina -- however, is under investigation and he turned himself in to police early this morning.

The Black Eyed Peas are giving back to the community by launching a youth academy aimed at giving underprivileged children in California the chance to get involved in film and music programs.

The group announced plans for their new gig at a concert last week through their Peapod Foundation. The initiative will help kids to interact with their community through music, dance, video, and art.

Will.i.am says, "As a group, we've made a commitment to help give teens the artistic tools and opportunities to help them realize their fullest potential.

"Thanks to the incredible generosity of Adobe Youth Voices, we are able to expand our vision and give even more kids a chance to be productive, enterprising adults."

President of the Adobe Foundation Shantanu Narayen commented as well, saying, "Creativity and digital literacy are as fundamental to a quality education as every other skill taught in the classroom today. We're proud to be working with such talented and committed artists to nurture self-expression among young people in underserved communities. We hope this is just the beginning."

It’s awesome to see the Black Eyed Peas giving back to the children in their own community. Does this mean that kids are on the brain for Fergie and Josh? They need a peapod of their own!
