Will Smith is reportedly going to be playing a pharaoh in his next movie role! Variety says Will has been wanting to play the Egyptian pharaoh Taharqa on the big screen for some time now, and he may have just gotten his wish.
According to the report, Randall Wallace, who wrote Braveheart, is writing the script for Will specifically. It will be based on Taharqa's life as pharaoh of Egypt from 690 BC to 664 BC. His father was a Nubian king that conquered Egypt.
This would be a huge undertaking for Will, don't you think? He has taken on big roles in the past, like Ali, and in the pursuit of Happyness. But this seems way bigger!
