People are getting a little too excited about all of the break-ups going on this summer. So much so that they seem to have moved on from overanalyzing photos and glances to making wild, mostly ludicrous guesses. Like one of Hollywood’s best and longest-standing couples, Jada Pinkett-Smith and Will Smith, are getting a divorce.
Star magazine reported that Jada and Will were “butting heads” over daughter Willow, which Jada says is total crap, in more graceful words.
Jada’s denial in the September issue of Essence (she’s also their cover girl) actually sounds kind of like song lyrics:
"We're not getting a divorce. Where am I gonna go? Where am I going to go? That's my boo. It's like he's another part of me."
To further ridicule the liemongers, Jada also shared her thoughts on maintaining a happy marriage (“…You need understanding, acceptance, and compassion…usually you get understanding through friendship, so you need to have that.”) and raising the coolest child in the history of children ("How people feel about Willow is how people feel about Willow. But what I'm most concerned about is how Willow feels about herself. She's an independent, courageous, genius, talented little girl. I'm happy for her, that she can just be who she is.").
Unfortunately for inquiring minds everywhere, though, Jada didn’t comment on the rising popularity of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in the Guantanamo Bay prison.
