Whoopie Goldberg Sympathizes With Wesley Snipes

Wesley Snipes
Whoopie Goldberg is taking Wesley Snipes' side and defending his actions. Snipes was just sentenced to three years in jail for not paying his taxes, and Whoopie thinks he's been used to set an example for the American people.

She says that celebs who break the law are being used as scapegoats by the government to deter other people from criminal activity. She says, "This is not unusual. With tax evasion, (the IRS) gets very, very agitated and if you're famous they are putting you behind some kind of bar."

Uh, yeah, so what's your point, Whoopie? Isn't that what the law is for, to punish people who break it, and set an example for others?

If the law is to punish the guilty and set an example to others, then why aren't Bill and Hil LIAR y Clinton in jail? Double standard, huh? This makes no sense.

Could someone, please, tell me why the Clinton fraud trial has NOT been widely publicized. One would think that something like this, is extremely important to ALL voters, who don't want more of the same old scandals of the Clinton years, in the 90's. Please, for God's sake and the sake of all Americans, report and expose this critical information. It's so wonderful that we're guaranteed "freedom of speech", however, we "the actual people" are rarely heard. One more question .... Who paid off Superior Court Judge Munoz to defer Hillary's deposition, until after the November election? (Does this prove that there's nobody in this country that can't be bought?) What the hell is that all about? Although, they probably know her deposition will be full of misstatements and distortions, with a few lapses of memory, anyway. (you know, her amnesia of convenience.) I guess it's true ... if you're wealthy and famous, you're above the law in these United States. (especially if you're an "infamous liar" ... Hil LIAR y) Every day, I'm more proud to be an American. It just keeps getting better and better, right? NOT! In fact, it's embarrassing what goes on in this country and we're supposedly so worried about what the rest of the world thinks about us. I'll tell you what they think. They're having a good laugh at our expense. I hope you're all very proud of yourselves, especially the damn media. You're a disgrace. In closing, let me say, every single day, I become a more fed-up, bitter American!

Oh, boo hoo - cry me a river - he can afford to pay his taxes - he chose not to - therefore he broke the law.

Why shouldn't celebrities be used as an example. They're the ones that try and get away with everything because of who they are. It sucks when the government puts them in their place! Also, I had once heard that he dated Halle Berry years ago and that he got physical with her (busted her eardrum). Maybe this is just his karma for that!

Wrong Wrong Wrong... Snipes was convicted of not filing a tax return... A misdemeanor that hundreds of thousands of taxpayers are guilty of yearly...He was never convicted of evasion or fraud... And Yes .. he was made an example of because hes a celebrity. Snipes would have never been convicted either if he would have "Cracked The Code" by Pete Hendrickson
