Bobbi Kristina, the famous daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was rushed to the hospital after hearing the news of her mother’s death on Saturday night.
The 18 year-old returned to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center the next morning, after suffering an emotional breakdown.
"My daughter did visit with doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles," her father Bobby Brown said in a statement. "She has been released and is presently with my family including her siblings."
Billy Watson, an extended member of Houston’s family said: “Everything [was] stressful. Her mama died, so she broke down. Nobody expected her to pass as quickly as she did. [Bobbi Kristina] had a nervous breakdown.”
Billy also confirmed that his brother, Ray, who was Houston’s bodyguard, is “the one who found her.” Sources are telling TMZ that Houston’s cause of death was a lethal combination of Xanax and other prescription drugs mixed with alcohol.
Bobbi Kristina is currently in Los Angeles with relatives. The night of her hospitalization, Kristina was reportedly “hysterical, exhausted and inconsolable.” Sources close to the family have told TMZ that they’re worried she’s suicidal. Bobbi got into an altercation with police the night of Whitney’s death because she was banned from seeing her mother’s body.
Another source said that Bobbi “does not want to live anymore.”
We are afraid for Bobbi Kristina’s life right now,” a family source told Hollywoodlife.com. They added that while everyone was celebrating the Grammys, “Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life.”
“Obviously the death of her mother is affecting her," Brown continues. "However we will get through this tragedy as a family."
