Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina is set to do her first post-Whitney’s-passing interview and has decided to go with none other than Oprah.
Of course Bobbi should do her first interview with Oprah, because she’s the best, but sources tell TMZ that Oprah was a close family friend and Oprah is the only person that Bobbi will trust to do the interview right.
It’s not sure yet if Bobbi is getting paid for the interview, but friends have said that Bobbi trusts Oprah to be fair and respectful.
Bobbi has told friends that Oprah, “was loyal to my mom, and never did my mother wrong, or made her look bad. She always looked out for my mom.”
Bobbi’s hoping that Oprah wont harp on substance abuse and all of the negative issues.
Oprah was the first person to reach out to Bobbi after Whitney passed, first as a friend and now professionally. This would also be a big interview for Oprah and her failing OWN network.
The special will air on Sunday and is on “Oprah’s Next Chapter” and will also feature interviews with Patricia Houston, her sister-in-law and Houston’s brother Gary.
Oprah was also one of the close friends invited to the funeral in Newark, NJ last month.
In other news, Bobbi Kristina just turned 19 this Sunday.
