Oh good, I was worried that she had come back down to Earth.

On a Delta Airlines flight from Atlanta, Georgia Wednesday afternoon, Whitney Houston reportedly threw a fit after refusing to put her seatbelt on.

According to TMZ, the 47 year-old singer, who has a history of drug abuse, "got diva" with a flight attendant. The flight attendant told Houston to buckle up before the plane took off, and Houston refused.

The singer reportedly missed a flight earlier that day. The crew member told Whitney that if she didn’t buckle up, she'd get kicked off the plane. So then, she made one of the flight attendants fasten the seatbelt for her, and then the plane was cleared for takeoff.

Every year or so, someone who used to be a celebrity magically turns into a sh-t show.

When this happens, bloggers everywhere rejoice that they don’t have to look at photos of January Jones pregnant belly for a while and instead can put their time to good use, like figuring out the best tweet they can throw a #Duhwinning hashtag onto.

Let’s look at the biggest hot messes in the biz and their contributions to crazytown.

In 2002, Whitney Houston told Diane Sawyer, “You get to a point where you know the party’s over.”

Well apparently, Whitney threw an after party, because the singer confirmed on Monday that she’s in rehab for drug and alcohol abuse.

We're counting down the biggest celebrity meltdowns of the last year starting with Whitney:

5. Whitney Houston: Ever since her meltdown in the early 2000’s, Whitney hasn’t been the same. In 2002, Whitney claimed, “the party’s over.” But ten years later, Houston is back in rehab...

Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, might be headed to rehab. Photos of the 18 year-old have surfaced, and it doesn’t look like she’ll be running for office anytime soon. Applying for Charlie Sheen's intern might be viable, though.

In the photos, Bobbi appears to be snorting cocaine. According to the National Enquirer, Whitney is sending her daughter straight to rehab, canceling her birthday party, and taking away her car.

I know the National Enquirer publishes stories about Natalie Portman using hand sanitizer, but let’s not forget, they’re the same publication willing to touch human waste to break a story.

Bobbi Tweeted about the rumor, saying, “Excuse me, but I'd like to say that I am NOT going to rehab? I'm perfectly healthy and I am not addicted to anything but life."

Instead of rehab, Whitney should make her daughter watch the video of her whole “crack is whack” meltdown. That should turn anyone off drugs.

One word of advice if you’re looking for the best facility, Whitney: Sober Valley Lodge isn’t real.
That was a short visit! Whitney Houston is already out of the hospital, after checking in earlier this week for a respiratory infection.

Houston released a statement to People saying, "I'm feeling great. I'm just ready to move on and continue my world tour."

Whitney Houston Hospitalized

There was a lot of speculation that the hospital visit was drug-related, and that she’d relapsed. But Whitney denies the allegations, even though she had to postpone the first four shows on her European tour.

Whitney claims her hospitalization was doctor’s orders, as a result of her allergies. "My health is terrific," she said. "But this is a time when I get a lot of allergies."

Houston's tour will resume on April 13 in Birmingham, England, and will continue through June. "I'm doing what I love to do, which is singing," Houston says. "The best part is seeing all of my fans around the world."

Do you believe her that she just had allergies? We’ve been hearing rumors lately that she’s back on drugs, and it just seems odd that a sudden hospitalization would have nothing to do with that! Either way, we’re happy she’s feeling well again!
Whitney Houston is back in the hospital, and we're hoping this time it's not drug related.

Whitney was rushed to the hospital in France after experiencing "nose and throat problems."

Whitney was set to embark on her European tour in Paris on Tuesday, but scrapped the show because of a “respiratory infection.”

But of course when Whitney makes headlines, drug accusations aren't too far behind. There were reports as recent as December that claimed Whitney was back on drugs.

Friends Fear Whitney is Using Drugs Again

“Everyone is worried about her,” a source said at the time. “Whitney seems to go from being a nervous wreck to being completely out of it in a short period of time — just like she did when she was freebasing and using crack cocaine.

“She is still drinking and with Whitney, alcohol and drugs have always gone hand-in-hand. She’s worked so hard to get back on top. It would be tragic for it to go up in smoke because she can’t stay clean. You can’t help worrying that she’s slipped back into some of her bad habits.”

We really wish her a speedy recovery and hope she's not back to her old habits. Get well soon Whit!
There are rumors circulating the net that Whitney Houston has fallen off the wagon and is headed back to rehab but that is just not the case.

The National Enquirer had claimed that Whitney was back to her old ways and was going to go to rehab to seek treatment after she suffered a “horrifying backstage collapse”.

Her lawyer denies all those claims in a statement that reads:

“Whitney is not headed to rehab. She is headed to Paris, where she will be continuing her world tour,” Marty Singer said in statement Thursday.

“It is ironic that at the same time that the Enquirer claims it is deserving of a Pulitzer for journalism [for breaking the John Edwards-Rielle Hunter affair story], the tabloid is continuously publishing stories comprised of brazen lies cobbled together from claims made from anonymous sources,” Singer adds.

Let's hope Whitney hasn't fallen off the wagon. It took her years to get her life back in order, we wouldn't want to see her ruin all that good work for a quick fix!

2009 was supposed to be Whitney Houston's big comeback year. She quit drugs, got back in the studio, released a new album and talked to Oprah about being a drug addict.

For a while it looked like Whitney was back on track, but after poor album sales for her "comeback" album I Look To You and a rejection from the Grammy's, friends fear she's using drugs again.

According to the National Enquirer, Whitney’s recent erratic behavior has sparked cause for concern and friends are fearing the worst.

“Everyone is worried about her,” a source said.

“You can’t help worrying that she’s slipped back into some of her bad habits,” added the source.

The Grammy committee usually loves comeback stories, and while other female artists like Beyonce and Taylor Swift got multiple nominations, Whitney was completely shut out.

We really hope she's not back to using, because as she famous told Diane Sawyer, "Crack is whack!"
Whitney Houston is headed to Dancing With the Stars! Not for any dancing—though she will be exercising her pipes! Whit has just been confirmed to perform for the finale of DWTS, which will take place on November 24th.

This season has already included some great acts, including Susan Boyle, Michael Buble and Taylor Swift. This season – the ninth in the show’s history — has had a host of special moments including their tributes to Patrick Swayze and Michael Jackson, who both passed away earlier this year.

ABC confirmed the news to Access Hollywood today, though it’s still unknown which song Whitney will be performing. She is currently promoting her comeback album, I Look To You. Whitney will also perform on the American Music Awards, which air on ABC this coming Sunday, November 22.

It’s a big week for her! Make sure and tune in!
