What To Watch On TV: Thursday Edition

Lost @ 9pm

So, Aaron's No. 5 of the "Oceanic Six," and Kate says she's his mother (and Jack, who says he's in love with her, doesn't want to have anything to do with him). We'll certainly hear more about that, but, for now, look up at the sky, where the helicopter carrying Desmond and Sayid to the freighter is headed right into some startling turbulence. They look pretty scared in the promos, but we know Sayid will live to kill another day. And as for Desmond, he is tonight's off-island star, so look for his beloved Penny (Sonya Walger) and her nasty father (Alan Dale).

Celebrity Apprentice @ 9pm

Marilu Henner hailed the Donald's taxi home last week, getting the Trump dump after her uneven performance as project manager of a losing QVC sales segment. Henner joins the growing list of fired celebs (Tiffany Fallon, Nadia Comaneci and the entertaining Gene Simmons among them) who won't be around for tonight's challenge. Here, the old advertising axiom "sex sells" figures prominently when the stars create a magazine photo spread for a body-wash product. The shoot gets hot, hot, hot when one team takes advantage of model Carol Alt's anatomical blessings. Also shaking and stirring things up: Two team members abandon their project manager and hit a bar.

Make Me a Supermodel @ 8pm

The mod, model reality series continues to strut its stuff with a winter blast tonight. It's the big chill when Tyson and Niki's posers drift into a wintry photo shoot that involves speed and snow — and it could be a slippery slope for some hopefuls. In addition, our sightly contestants journey to a trapeze school to prepare them for a most unusual catwalk challenge. Now that's getting into the swing of things.

American Idol @ 8pm

Amy, Joanne, Garrett and Colton got the boot last week, and tonight there will be four more casualties from the competition. The 20 remaining contestants will be holding their breath, hoping tonight isn't their swan song.
