What To Watch Tonight: Tuesday Edition
Dancing with the Stars @ 9pm
Two-time Indy 500 champ Helio is probably used to being around for the checkered flag, but will he still be in the race after tonight? While it may not be fair to single him out, it would be significant since it would effectively end three straight seasons of male domination. And if that's not enough to kick things into another gear, Avril Lavigne revs up the proceedings by singing "Hot," from her latest album, The Best Damn Thing, and the Grammy-nominated "Complicated."
House @ 9pm
True, there was a firing last week, but Terzi (Michael Michele) didn't really count because House had hired her only the week before. So he has tonight and next week before sweeps end to get his team in place. How will he prune? By taking a page from the reality-show playbooks of Donald Trump and Gordon Ramsay: He has the candidates nominate each other for the ax. Meanwhile, they also try to figure out why a magician's heart failed during an underwater-escape act. House's diagnosis: The guy's a faker. He was embarrassed that he messed up the act, and he's looking for an excuse.
Nip/Tuck @ 10pm
So, Annie McNamara will be going to the same school as her new "big sister," the vixenish Eden Lord. Don't porn stars have names like that? Naturally, Sean — simultaneously aroused and disgusted by Eden — was not pleased, and tonight's developments do nothing to put his mind at ease. But the big news is the return of Dawn Budge (Rosie O'Donnell), whose encounter with an eagle while paragliding has left her, once again, in need of plastic surgery. This time our boys will have to fix her mouth, and they'll have to sew it shut to do so. We're still checking rumors that Donald Trump had a hand in writing the script.
Tila Tequila: A Shot at Love @ 10pm
Last week Vanessa was voted off and an emotion filled fight alluded between her and Brandi. V basically had a major melt down as she collapsed on the pink furry rug by the door. She swore Tila was feeling her as a girlfriend but Tila T was a no-go. Brandi was so distraught she basically quit the show, but I have a sneaky feeling she'll be back tonight. There was an interesting after show last week, where Brandi (who seemed a bit boring) was questioned about her experience on the show. Catch up tonight, as the theme of the show will be "hangover"...what else?
