Wanted

Angelina Jolie played a total badass in the movie Wanted. But even though she died at the end of the film, director Timur Bekmambetov has found a way to have her be a part of the sequel.

Bekmambetov tells MTV, “She was kind of… dead. If you remember from the first film, we have a recovery room with the baths of wax. We know how to do this, but it’s still tough to do, because the bullet is inside her head.”

“But there has to be a reason for her to come back… and we know the reason. I think we found the reason for her to come back.”

Would that “reason” happen to be for ratings??? We think so! Angie hasn’t yet signed on, but the director plans on starting production on the sequel this winter.

Angelina Jolie has just signed on for the role of the heroine in a film based on Patricia Cornwell’s best-selling crime novels.

According to Variety, Angie will play the beautiful Dr. Kay Scarpetta in the film adapted from several of the books in the 16-novel series.

The movie won’t just follow one of the books, which is similar to how the Bourne movies with Matt Damon were taken from several of Robert Ludlum books.

In Cornwell's books, Scarpetta starts out as the chief medical examiner for Virginia and later relocates to various East Coast states to become a private forensic consultant.

No screen writer or director has been chosen as of yet, which is partially in part to Cornwell being very protective over her work. But when Angelina shows interest, how does one say no?

It may be a couple of years before we see the movie come to life. In the meantime, we can look forward to her starring in the sequels of both Kung Fu Panda and Wanted.
Don't MISS out on Breaking News!
Angelina Jolie not only looked hot in the movie Wanted, but she was also a total badass. But the British think she might be just a little too violent in the film, because they've banned all the movie posters in England. The promo shot features Jolie Sprawled across a car wielding a gun. Doesn't sound like anything we haven't seen before, but apparently the Brits think otherwise.

A statement from Britain's Advertising Standards Authority reads: "We acknowledged most viewers would understand the posters reflected the content of an action film. However, we considered that because the ads featured a glamorous actress, action poses, several images of or related to guns and aspirational text, they could be seen to glamorize the use of guns and violence. We concluded they could be seen to condone violence by glorifying or glamorizing the use of guns. We have seen a proliferation of complaints from the public about advertising which is seen to condone gun or knife crime. We are responding to the level of consumer concern."

We don't see the difference between that movie poster and most thriller or violence-based movies. Do you?

Angelina Jolie's new movie hits theatres today and it's safe to say that it's getting great reviews. If you read the NY TImes Review it basically tells you that it's gonna bring all the boys in the theatre on their knees.

Manohla Dargis says, “Ms. Jolie has been perfectly cast as a super-scary, seemingly amoral assassin named (wait for it) Fox. Few American actresses, especially those with such pin-skinny arms, can make beating a guy to the ground look so easy and, yeah, man, like fun. With her mean smiley-sneer and snug clothes, her heels and hieroglyphics, she cuts the kind of disciplinarian figure who can bring antsy boys of all ages to their knees or at least into their theater seats.”

Seems like the movie theatre is gonna be filled with a lot of boys.
James McAvoy says he wants to quit acting for a little while.  He's been pretty busy lately, and with the hype of his latest movie Wanted, the guy probably does need a break.

He says, "I'm going to not act for a little while and take some space and take some time - and make some 'me' time, you know, all that rubbish."

Well James better hurry up and get that "me" time in quick, since rumor has it, he's already accepted a role in the Hobbit.

He does say that he felt like he was working too hard, and wanted to slow his roll a little bit. He's probably taking note from all his peers entering rehab and hospitals for exhaustion and doesn't want that for himself!
James McAvoy, who stars with Angelina Jolie in the upcoming film Wanted, dished about his co-star on the British show Friday Night With Jonathan Ross.  And of course, James told us what we wanted to hear: what it was like to kiss Angelina Jolie

He said, "I was nervous, but after five minutes I thought this is going to be all right, it's cool. She was in very good shape.

It could be anybody when you're kissing someone on film, you have to make it look good. She's pretty much in control of the situation."

Well we're sure these two had no trouble making it look good!  And it doesn't surprise us that Angie is in control while on set. Wanted opens in theatres on June 27th.
