Vince Vaughn Disapproves of John Mayer

Jennifer Aniston's ex beau Vince Vaughn reportedly disapproves of her new fling with John Mayer.

According to National Enquirer magazine, Vince called Jennifer and said: "You can't be serious - this guy is just using you to make a name for himself."

Apparently Jenn was "highly amused by the whole conversation" and "she told Vince that in case he didn't notice, John already had quite a name for himself - with or without dating her - and if Vince didn't like the reports that were surfacing, he should stop reading the papers and spare himself a heart attack!"

What do you guys think about the Jenn/John hookup? He'll get a lot of shit from the media if he breaks her heart so lets hope its not just a summer fling.

John Mayer and Jen are acting. Vince and Jen were acting. The story is fiction. It is all arranged by CAA. Mayer met Vaughn in Miami with Jen before they started this game. Jen has secret plans to marry someone else and this is the reason whey she is using a media clown like Mayer. Jen HAS TO PRETEND TO HAVE A PARTNER until she marries this new guy.....because of other reasons that will appear.

To xxx: The only people that are planting stories is the rag mags that make their living on stories that think will sell. I don't care about Brad's penis size and certainly that story makes Aniston look bad (superficial)and do not believe that it's not her PR doing anything. I take these stories with a bucket of salt. The fact that Pitt did pictures nude has nothing to do with Aniston. Pictures say a thousand words as far as size. If the media wants to change that by trying to use Aniston to bring that story to a head, no pun intended, lol, well it goes to show that the tabs are below garbage. As I have told you on many occasions because you post everywhere. I don't care about the media whores, Jolie and Pitt and if there is a story that gets those two off the cover of every magazine, I'd say bring more.

It's not unheard of for an "EX" to not want you to date someone else. Especially someone like Mayer. He is hot and can sing sweet nothings into her ear as he has his way with her. My bet is that Brad does not like it any better than Vince,but the difference is Brad gave up his rights to voice it when he slept with Angie while filming their mr. and mrs. Slut movie. the whole thing is to irritate her exhusband. It shows you the Machiavellian aspect to the LA film/media industries. If you never worked there you see Glitz and Glam, another reality is interpersonal hostility, backstabbing, vulgar egotism, character assassination, career games etc... These stories are created by business people and investors more than the actors and created to generate more business. With other actors it is different, but after her divorce, she became completely guarded as the miseries of her personal life unfolded into the international press. It is a well organised and orchestrated defence mechanism and from my perspective, completely understandable.

I agree, Mayer is someone who does ANYTHING for publicity to promote his career: kissing Perez Hilton, intentionally photographed wearing a Borat thong after the joke was stale, blogging about pissing on his girlfriend.... basically ANYTHING to get audience attention to ignore his overwhelming mediocrity.

it is an MO : Jen is revenge orientated, it comes from her mother and growing up in a single parent house where her mother hated her father : her publicist and manager manufactured a strng of "relationships" for the public (while the reality of her personal life that people are more interested in than her screen performances is kept private). By doing this they can control media perception of her career without Jen being on a public emotional rollercoaster. SO that is why you get this overt romance stories (flowers, massages, breakfast in bed etc...with Mayer they basically met once and immediately acted like a couple because it was acting) and then the publicist follows up with planted stories of willy size (Brad was laughed at in the press for his nude photos) and the now redundant "better in bed than Brad" stories. They issued EXACTLY the same stories for Vaughn, Sculfor etc... who were also hired for this public performance. The goal for them was to get publicity for their careers. This is why Jen's relationships with these people are very intense from all the stories, overtly romantic from all the stories and quietly end for no reason. This are just facts. What people read are business games.

I don't believe this story at all! Are we suppose to believe that Vince is now acting like big brother? Apparently Vince didn't work hard enough to keep Jen -so at this point her dating life should be of no concern to him. With that said, I think they make a cute couple and John does have a name for himself. IF he didn't then people like Cameron Diaz and Jessica Simpson wouldn't have wasted time on a nobody. They both enjoy high profile relationships. It's sad that people can't be happy for this girl.
