Vince Vaughn Defends Gay Comments
Vince Vaughn has responded to the gay joke that was included in the trailer for his latest movie The Dilemma.

Let’s just say it pissed off a lot of people! Anderson Cooper was first to comment on the line—which, if you missed it, was Vaughn’s character saying, "Ladies and gentlemen, electric cars ... are gay."

Vaughn said in a statement to Deadline: "Let me add my voice of support to the people outraged by the bullying and persecution of people for their differences, whatever those differences may be.

“Comedy and joking about our differences breaks tension and brings us together. Drawing dividing lines over what we can and cannot joke about does exactly that; it divides us. Most importantly, where does it stop."

Cooper believes statements like those are contributing to the bullying amongst gay youth in the world—do you agree? Or does Vince have a point that it was simply a joke?
