This goes to show you the impact the media can have. Anderson Cooper is a powerful person in media and when he speaks out against something, people usually listen.
As we reported earlier today, Cooper discussed how upset he was with Vince Vaughn’s new movie “The Dilemma” because not only did the movie have the negative phrase “that’s so gay” but the studio used it in the trailer as well.
Well, thanks to Anderson Cooper speaking out, Universal pictures have decided to edit that part out of the trailer.
A Universal Pictures rep said: "The teaser trailer for 'The Dilemma' was not intended to cause anyone discomfort. In light of growing claims that the introduction to the trailer is insensitive, it is being replaced. A full trailer, which has been in the works for some time, will post online later today."
Cooper spoke out because he feels like it’s those terms that are hurting kids in school.
