Whitney Houston is finally resting in peace, following her star-studded memorial Saturday and burial service Sunday. During a small family gathering, Whitney was buried next to her father, who passed away in 2003. The day before, was Whitney’s much larger, elaborate “home going” ceremony. Celebrities that knew Whitney best honored her memory. Alicia Keys, Kevin Costner, Clive Davis, Mariah Carey, Tyler Perry, and Stevie Wonder were among the many that paid tribute with moving speeches and touching songs. Aretha Franklin was supposed to sing during the service but backed out that morning due to health reasons. But, she still did her show at Radio City Music Hall that night. Bobby Brown did show up to the funeral but left in the middle of the service, claiming that security made “only” him move seats several times, would not accommodate his family that he brought with him, and would not let him near Bobbi Kristina. He says he left so that he would not create a scene on Whitney’s day.
