Monkees Star Davy Jones Dies

Davy Jones, member of the hit 60‘s group ‘The Monkees’ has passed away at the age of 66. The entertainer reportedly suffered a fatal heart attack today in Florida. This is sad news for the music world. Davy was a teen heartthrob in the 60’s as the tambourine-tapping cutie in ‘The Monkees.’ The band was a huge sensation, and America’s answer to The Beatles. Davy Jones was actually the only British member in The Monkees. Davy was a child actor before joining the group, and is best known for his lead vocals on the hits "Daydream Believer" and "Valerie."
