Victoria Beckham might have a career in comedy. Or at least she seems to think so.
In an interview with Women's Wear Daily, Victoria said that fans are starting to get to know her sense humor, thanks to Twitter.
The Spice Girl-turned-designer's 3,342,772 followers were given the chance when she tweeted a picture of herself on board an aircraft to China seated next to a flight attendant. In the photo, both ladies are strapped in to the plane's jump seats while Victoria holds the announcement phone to her ear.
“Cabin crew prepare for landing! Welcome to Beijing!!” the caption reads. The flight attendant played along in the photo, making a face and pointing at Victoria.
Get it? Yeah…
Still, Victoria feels the tweets and photos help bring fans closer.
“I also think that my fans and customers really get to know me and my sense of humor through my tweets,” the designer said. “I think people see the real me.”
The problem with this theory is that the “real her” is an untouchable celebrity and when normal people try to take over a flight's intercom system and make announcements, they get arrested.
Up until she began this comedy career, the 38-year-old was of course known as Posh Spice, master of the "pouty face" and wife of super-hot David Beckham.
Victoria hopes fun tweets like her flight photo will break her from the pouty stigma, but despite the efforts and all-star husband, I'll always know her as Posh.
