There’s making an entrance, and then there’s Victoria Beckham.
The fashion designer and former Spice Girl arrived at her son Brooklyn’s parents and teachers evening by way of a helicopter in London recently.
Hey, now, she had her reasons. You try getting from one side of London to the other promptly when you’re in a meeting with Australian Vogue’s editor-in-chief and then have another meeting with your kid’s educator at 5 p.m.
It's not easy to do without your chopper on standby, duh.
Edwina McCann, the editor Victoria met with, said the tricky situation nearly cost her magazine a spread in an upcoming issue. “The shoot almost didn’t happen” because of the scheduling conflict, but luckily her people came up with an innovative, if lavish, solution.
However, Victoria insists she’s “much more normal than people think.”
“Honestly, once the children are in bed I’d rather work or shove on a face pack and pluck my eyebrows, by the time Brooklyn’s finally gone to bed, it’s all I’m fit for,” she added.
“Really, we’re much more normal than people think.”
That’s when Victoria threw on her shades and took her chopper to the Starbucks on the corner to get a latte.
