Stars Come Out To Watch Beckham

Only in Los Angeles would there be a red carpet for a soccer match. At yesterdays LA Galaxy vs. Chelsea game at the Home Depot Center, the stars were out to see David Beckham play his first game in America.

David’s wifey Victoria Beckham definitely gave a new meaning to the word "posh" as she stepped out in a sexy black cocktail dress with her three boys. Her bff Katie Holmes also attended with daughter Suri Cruise as they watched the game in a private box.

Our Hollyscoop correspondent Lucy also spotted Eva Longoria in Vicki’s VIP box, can we say there’s a new threesome in Hollywood? Other stars that attended the game included Jennifer love Hewitt, Mary Kate Olsen, Alicia Silverstone and the Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I played soccer alot in the 6th Grade and first time I watched a soccer game was on one of the spanish channel's and "hahaha" the only thing "ridiculous" around here is YOU and second speak for your OWN damn self nobody asked you to speak for us so don't ever do that again.

Obviously only Americans think the sport is boring. There's a world outside of US you know! Americans are not the only beings on earth. Americans are so afraid that soccer will gain popularity because their beloved sports are no longer as popular. Kids nowadays prefer extreme sports and hopefully they will learn to love soccer as more games are televised. As for Posh, she can proudly wear whatever she wants to the games. I have seen her in shorts and T's, sweats, jeans, you name it. That's not what people go to see, they go to see her husband play.

i watched the game!! it was awesome! soccer isnt boring. why do you think it is the world's best sport if it is boring? america isnt the only country on this planet. i thinnk Victoria look great in almost everything. she isnt always in short skirts and dresses. ive seen her in almost everything. including sweats

Now now now. What's with all this American bashing??? I think the point hahaha was trying to make is that soccer is not gonna overtake nfl football and basketball in popularity. In the US, Superbowl weekend is damn near a federal holiday. And David Beckham as cute as he is, is not gonna change that.

Geez, everyone calm the f*ck down! So what if America isn't crazy about soccer! Some of us do find it boring, but it's probably only because it's not a popular sport in this country. Get over it already. Maybe it's "all that" in other countries but it's not here and it never will be. Football, baseball, basketball and hockey are "our" thing. So move on and don't get pissed when we say soccer sucks. Soccer is for grammar school children... after that age there is normally no interest in it over here in the US! AND any guy that talks it up, it's only b/c it's the only sport they can play!
