Posh's Dry Humor Not So Funny

If any of you out there missed the Victoria Beckham: "Coming to America" special last night on NBC don't worry, you didn't miss much. Truthfully, being the Beckham fanatics that we are, we were disappointed on the outcome of the show. First off, we are not surprised that the show was cut from 6 episodes reality show to an hour because if we weren't Beckham fans, we would have tuned out after 5 minutes. Basically, Victoria's multiple "posh" wardrobe changes kept us to tuned in.

Viewers could easily mislead Victoria’s “Dry British” sense of humor. At times we felt like she was trying too hard to be funny but came off arrogant and obnoxious instead. She definitely gives a new meaning to the word ditz. Regardless of her IQ, this mother of three is hot and knows how to flaunt it.

Check out the clip above, Victoria poses in her backyard in her bathing suit and tells her new assistant how she needs her to be uglier and fatter than her. Classic!

Really? I thought it was great. Nice to see her poke fun at herself - something you wouldn't see many Hollywood-types doing on camera. She was hysterical - her persona is a schtick. I think she's a lot smarter than you think. Last night she made new fans for sure.

I loved it! I thought she was funny. It was surprising that she does have a sense of humor. I have always pictured her as the more serious type. Let's not be jelous now. We know she's got everything. Good for her.

I'm sure she's not as stuck up as people think - she does seem sort of nice but they can also do a LOT of editing in these so called reality shows to make people seem funnier/nicer, etc. Whatever they want to get across.

Before watching the show last night I too thought that she was uptight, especially since in all her pics with David he is always smiling while she is busy working on her pose. However, she does have a personality and a sense of humor and she is actually quite enjoyable. Better then the bunch of snooty Beverly Hills bitches that she had to have lunch with....no wonder plastic surgeons in LA are sooo damn rich! But I really like the show

I am SHOCKED at Hollyscoop...Usually I agree with everything you guys say. I LOVED POSH!!!! She has an air of old Hollywood glamour...she is spoiled and unapologetic about it. Isnt that refreshing???I found her humour hillarious and thought her and David were adorable together!!!!! I have spoken to sooo many people that really wish the show would be a series...she is somethign we need here. I feel liek she has it all...great family that she prioritizes (wowe thats rare) a great personality and a love for fashion..... who wants anything more? I think she is gonna be a great sucess!

People are again being way too tough on her. Yes, her humor was a little dry but that's because she's relatively down to earth and a family person. Yeah, she's a little too into looking good but show me a woman that really, truly doesn't want to look her best. Their life was a little boring but that's because they're more normal than they're played out to be in the Net Blogs.
