Joan Rivers Slams Victoria Beckham

Joan Rivers has always been outspoken but her recent comments---or insults-- about Victoria Beckham were definitely uncalled for.

During an exclusive interview Rivers said, “I dislike Victoria Beckham,” she seethed. “The entitlement - the total entitlement. You want to say: ‘Calm down, you were a Spice Girl.’ The arrogance when she walks into a room is astonishing.”

Ouch! Sounds like personal beef. Naturally, her insults are just in time for her new show, “Joan Rivers: A Work in Progress by a Life in Progress.” Let's get these two in a ring and see who takes who out first. Now that’s what I call entertainment!

haha..i'm from Asia and i don't even know who Joan Rivers is! bet she's never even met or talked to Victoria to make this comment. and i bet that this Joan just "feeling sick" in her stomach when all attention were directed to Victoria, and not her, everytime Victoria's entering a room. and what worst..Victoria doesn't even do, or doesn't even need to do anything to get the attention. in other words, it's just a plain jealousy on Joan's part. ;p

Victoria Beckhams mini series was dropped by NBC! She is arrogant and cold and has no warmth or charisma! The U.S critics savage and detest her! Joan Rivers views are just a normal extension of widespread American opinion believe me!

I don't think Victoria necessarily thinks she's "too grand"...I think her personality is just like that a bit. She never seems cold when talking to people she knows! I think that her Spice Girls name "Posh" just really stuck with her and kind of influenced both how she would be seen by others and how she feels she has to portray herself. I think she's one of the most wilfully misunderstood celebrities!

it's not NBC who dropped the mini series, but rather it was Victoria who wanted to drop it or cut it short because she wanted to go back to England (in the middle of the filming of the series) in February/March to support David because he's been recalled back to play in the national team! please..if you want to say anything, please get your facts right! and if supporting your husband n family is "arrogant and cold", i don't know what more worst than that. to Ms. Joan "who the hell she is - i don't even know her" Rivers and all of the Posh's haters, please watch all of her interviews and reality shows, or better, meet her and talk to her personally to see how "arrogant" she is, and i bet all of you will eat your ***!

They did have a little tiff a while back. Personally I think they're both bitches. I have not forgotten the way Joan joked about Liz Taylor. That was beyond cruel. And Posh does act like she is the damn Queen.

Joan may be over the top with her plastic surgery but she's right on target with this comment! I couldn't agree more. It's nice that speaks out on behalf of the majority of america! She says what most of us would never get the chance to say.

Joan is too used to criticizing people's outfits to even care about their personalities.It would appear that anyone who has ever met Posh seems to think she's very nice and down to earth. Joan is probably basing her opinion on Posh's appearance alone. Talk to the girl Joan! Sheesh.

No, Posh's silly show was dropped from NBC. Beckhams NEVER turn down money. Both will do ANYTHING for money. They are an embarassment and should be run out of this country on a rail. The LAST thing we need is a couple of morally bankrupt Brits. We have enough of the homegrown variety already. Necessity for imports does not exist.

Yes NBC dropped her Coming To America show! She was deemed too uninteresting and incapable to fill a 6 show schedule for what would have only been in her eyes a self advertisement campaign and greed mission for brand Beckham! Things got even worse when the critics savaged it and the audience figures were appalling! End result? The show went to the electric chair!

I met Victoria backstage at the Spice Girls concert and she was very nice. She took an adorable picture with my 7 year old son and did not seem arrogant in any way. Joan Rivers is out of her mind to say that she is only a Spice Girl.....she is married to the hottest man on this planet, has 3 beautiful children, is fithly rich and has A-list celebrities as her good friends. Sounds like Joan has some jealousy issues.

She is infamous in the U.K for arrogant, obscene, vulgar and unnecessary self publicising displays of wealth, even her, in house, private personal spending details are leaked to the press! Hardly hearts and minds winning behaviour for the U.S, a country in which many citizens cannot even afford healthcare and also now face an economic crisis along with mass property repossessions! You are reading into my words.....I was simply trying to make a point and honestly i don't care what the people of the UK think of her. She was nice to me and my son and she was TOTALLY different then what the media portrays of her. And I hardly think the Beckhams are to blame for the economic conditions of the US. It isn't anyone's business how David and VB spend their money, especially in their own homes.

well...take away Victoria then David IS the one who is NOTHING..just a mere footballer like he used to be BEFORE he met her 11 years ago! i've been following the Posh & Becks story for 12 years now and not even once i've heard Victoria been slammed in the UK for her "arrogantness" or "coldness" coz she never had one! and about her wealth, they're constantly amazed at her spending as well as David's..but that's why they called them as "the Royal Couple/Family of the Common People" and they don't care about their spending much coz there's a lot of other rich ppl spending more ridiculously than the Beckhams in UK! huh..if you really want to say something, please don't quote from the "hearsay" only! and i bet y'all don't the Beckhams at all to say anything about her until she went to US last year! so..if you don't know anything, just shut up please..

Vicky is portrayed the exact way that she is by the media that she gives notice to when she walks outdoors. She over-dresses, makes insipid statements, thinks she is funny (and says that Americans don't get her british humor, when we do but just don't find HER funny) and rarely cracks a smile.

Posh is cute, full of humor (nearly all people surrounding her, are saying this), she has fashion superpowers, had given birth to three cute sons, is married to one of the best football players in the history of the sport. She is nice and sexy, we all should be thankful for celebs who don't drink and drive and who do take care of their children. Stop bashing Posh, instead worship her incomparable fashion skills, her beauty and her life style.
