It was only July when the couple welcomed their fourth child into the family, and two months later, David is acting like he’s ready to start reproducing again. Of course, if Victoria’s not interested, I’m sure there are plenty of women who’ll volunteer their ovaries.
“If we were lucky enough to have another one, it would be great,” Beckham told Ellen on Friday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
“We always spoke about having a big family. We love children. We are very blessed to have four healthy children so if one comes along that would be amazing."
Harper Seven was named after the weird coincidences that came up with the number around her birth—she was born at 7:55 a.m. in the seventh month, and she was seven pounds, ten ounces. Beckham’s L.A. Galaxy number is also seven.
“You want five kids, so then it’s a seven,” Ellen explained. “That’s probably why you’re doing it.”
“What can I say,” Beckham responded. “I love the number seven.”
I bet Victoria Beckham’s reproductive organs are wishing his jersey number was two.
David seems to be enjoying the new lady of the house. He told Hollyscoop:
“It’s a whole different thing. There’s pink, there’s lilac appearing in the house.”
And will little Harper follow in her mom’s fashionable footsteps with her own line?
“Maybe in the future,” David tells us.
Harper Seven is like, the perfect name for a fashion line, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Victoria had that in mind when naming her daughter.
The Beckham baby has already partaken in her first New York Fashion Week, with Victoria taking her on a shopping trip to Prada, FAO Schwartz, Marc Jacobs and Isabel Marant.
At Prada, Beckham wore a peach dress, which Harper almost spit up on at one point during the shopping trip. Looks like celebrity babies vomit, too.
Victoria says Harper loved the shopping trip: “We went in to Prada yesterday and she loved it. It was if she was saying, 'Mummy I'm home!'"
Probably more like, “change my diaper and put a boob in my mouth!” but yeah, you get the idea.
