VANITY FAIR GOES GREEN!

Vanity Fair cares about the environment and that is why they have brought out a “Green Issue”. The May cover features a quartet of eco–power players, capturing Hollywood glamour and activist passion: Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Al Gore, Julia Roberts, and George Clooney.. Articles inside address the pressing environmental issues of the day including global warming, Apalachian mountaintop-mining crisis and a Green Guide which offers tips to save the planet.

Speaking of our favorite hunk George Clooney, it appears that he has given up his luxurious ride for an environmentally friendly car. Honestly he looks good in any car, he can take me on a ride anywhere!

Along with the Oscar winning actor, another actress is putting the pressure on Hollywood A-listers to get environmentally friendly cars. According to the Sunday Times of London Thandie Newton has sent her “Mission Impossible III” co-star Tom Cruise a letter urging him to stop driving a "gas guzzling" 4x4. Newton also sent the letter to Will Smith, Madonna, Kevin Costner, Ben Affleck, Meg Ryan, and other celebrities, according to the Times.
