Valentine's Day
May 18, 2010

The film follows an all-star ensemble cast by intertwining story lines of a diverse group of Los Angelenos as they navigate their way through romance and heartbreak over the course of one Valentine's Day. If you think this is one of those cheesy romantic flicks, think again! This movie is actually a pretty realistic version of what people go through on such a romantic holiday.
Also, being released today is Matt Damon's Invictus. Directed by Clint Eastwood, the film tells the inspiring true story of how Nelson Mandela joined forces with the captain of South Africa’s rugby team, Francois Pienaar, to help unite their country.

Studio bosses are getting together ideas for the sequel, which will center around New Years Eve.
Execs will enlist Valentine's Day director Garry Marshall for the sequel and it's going to have as many big stars as Valentine's Day.
"Those actors will segue into the new New York-set relationship ensemble story that uses December 31st and a little after midnight on January 1st as the plotline’s ticking clock," reports Deadline.
Valentine's Day opens nationwide this Friday, February 8th, so hopefully it does well enough in the box office to green light the sequel!
