Usher’s much anticipated wedding to his stylist Tameka Foster has been canceled. The two were supposed to tie the knot today at record executive LA Reid’s Hamptons estate. All guests who were expected to attend the event have been told that the event will not take place as originally planned.
In a statement to the Associated Press, publicist Patti Webster said, "It was announced today that
the wedding ceremony for Usher Raymond IV and Tameka Foster was canceled. No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected." Usher and Tameka are expecting a child together, but no word if they still remain engaged.
There is no confirmation if its a case of cold feet or perhaps Tameka decided to be a “runaway bride”, but there have been rumors that Usher’s mother wasn’t happy about the union. Usher even went to the extent to
fire his mother as his manager.
If you have seen the movie “Monster In Law”, you know it’s a big problem if the groom’s mother doesn’t approve of the bride. If there was trouble in paradise, it's much wiser to cancel the wedding rather than make the quickie divorce list in Hollywood.
