Usher: I Work for My Kids
Usher has made a killing off his record sales in the last decade, but he's determined to start as many side businesses as he can so his kids will be taken care of financially after he's gone.

Usher became a dad for the first time in 2007 welcoming Usher Raymond V with his now-ex-wife Tameka Foster and his second son, Naviyd Ely Raymond in 2008, and he wants to make sure they'll be okay when he's not around anymore.

He tells Australia's Sydney Morning Herald, "I learned a lot (having children). I now have a greater purpose. Children can make you more responsible and clear about where life is... It extended my priorities. It wasn't just about music any more. It's about doing good business, making sure your head's in the right direction.

"I want to grow business in and outside of the music industry. I'm looking to build a company that caters to every aspect in the development of artists. Justin Bieber is only the beginning. I've created a business structure built around Usher as an enterprise and Usher as an artist."

Aside from music, Usher has his own fragrance line, he's opened his own restaurant, bought a share in basketball team the Cleveland Cavaliers and set up his media company, the Raymond Braun Media Group, which signed Justin Bieber. All in all, we'd say he's doing pretty damn well for himself!
