Brooke Hogan is facing heat from
Prom magazine for posing semi-nude for FHM magazine. The daughter of legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan was due to appear on the front cover of Prom, however, editors were outraged when she appeared on the cover of FHM wearing a skimpy bikini.
In a statement, Prom spokesperson Aaron Bernick fumed: "
We don't feel up to taking thousands of telephone calls from the upset mothers of our young promers."
However, Brooke's representative has denied claims that she was dropped from the cover because her image was "
not appropriate for the Prom audience".
Her spokesperson said: "
Clearly, Prom is attempting to publicize their magazine by stirring up controversy over photos of Brooke that they took more than a year ago.
"It looks like they are trying to up their circulation."
Meanwhile, Brooke is busy promoting the third series of her father Hulk's hit reality TV show, '
Hogan Knows Best' and her debut album, which is set to be released on October 24.
Can someone remind me what Prom Magazine is? I’ve heard of Teen People, Prom Edition but I didn’t know that there was an actual magazine dedicated to prom. I guess people do take a silly dance seriously.
