The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is going to be over soon, but that doesn’t mean the franchise has to die!
What about a remake in 10 years!? Twilight star Peter Facinelli likes the idea of a remake in several years, except for one hitch…
“Well, the problem with that is that vampires don’t age,” he tells Hollyscoop with a laugh, “So unless they have really good CGI at the time, ten years from now, I’m not going to be able to do that.”
So is that a yes, Peter Facinelli? Will you come back in a decade for Twilight: The Reboot?
“Maybe, but again, they better make it quick, because I’m getting older every day!
Nikki Reed also told us she’s completely on board for a Twilight remake.
“Well, I would be on board, but I don’t know, I can’t imagine anyone wanting to see Rosalie at 47 years old!”
And this brings us back to Peter Facinelli’s expert CGI problem, or as Nikki puts it, ”We don’t age, so it would go against everything that’s appealing about our characters, it’s supposed to be youth and beauty, and we’d be going against that!”
But at the end of the day, Nikki tells us, “[But] I would do it. I would do the film, of course! But I just can’t imagine it.”
