Uma Thurman Calls Off Engagement

Uma Thurman and her Swiss gazillionaire boyfriend Arpad "Arki" Busson have called off their engagement but they "remain friends." Of course.

Uma and Arpad began dating in the summer of 2007, and just one year later he proposed with a 8-plus carat engagement ring. Who could say no to that?!

But it looks like the rock wasn't enough and the relationship fizzled out. "The engagement ended awhile back – almost two months ago," a source tells People magazine. "They remain friends."

Apparently, Arpad is "beside himself" that they weren't able to figure things out but Uma is eager to move on with her life. Oh well, another one bites the dust!

Dynomoose, all women are all about the big shiny sparkly things lol, well not all but I wouldn't mind the 8ct diamond ring, but I am glad she called it of rather than going through with the marriage and not being happy with it
