Ugly Betty is set in New York, so why not have it shoot there? Producers of the show are currently considering moving from LA to NYC because they say it will be cheaper. Well that's a first! When has anything been cheaper in New York?

They must have some plan up their sleeves, because all of the cast members have been notified of the possible change in location. It would certainly give the show a more authentic feel.
