HOLLYSCOOP EXCLUSIVE
Earlier this week, “Real Housewives of D.C” personality, Michaele Salahi released her first single “Bump It’ which sounds like a geriatric Ke$ha. But Salahi is not the only reality star to force her way into the music scene.

Another old person and “Real Housewife” Countess LuAnn de Lesseps released her second single (she had a first single?) “Chic C’est La Vie” where she sings about going to the club (despite the fact she looks like she’s pushing 50) and sings with a “French accent” for the chorus. This video really could have benefited from some airbrushing and auto-tune.

Tyra Banks recently told CBS News that she’s been taking classes at Harvard Business School since last year. I can only imagine this statement was followed by a long period of silence before the reporter asked, “Are you sure you don’t mean the University of Phoenix?”

Even Banks acknowledges that her endeavor is somewhat of a surprise.

"When people have low expectations, you're just constantly going, 'Ta-da!' And they're like, 'Wow,' " Banks said. "It doesn't take a lot to wow them when they have low expectations."

What a great business model: disappoint people so they don’t expect much. I just hope during class she doesn’t slap her butt and say, “check out my big booty, y’all.”

Banks has been taking the classes to support her women’s empowerment non-profit organization, TZONE. "In order for my company to grow and be the best, and to reach these women, and to serve them, I needed the best. So I went to the best."

If you’re looking for the best, I think you could think of a better name than TZONE. I don’t know how good of an idea it is to name a company after the acne prone area of your face. But hey, I’m no Harvard business student.
Don't MISS out on Breaking News!
Everyone is skipping breakfast this morning over news that that chick with the smallest waist of all time won America’s Next Top Model.

The buzz around Ann Ward started when Miss J was able to fit his hands around her waist. Tyra Banks said at the time, "You have the smallest waist in the world. Look at that waist!"

She later apologized, saying, "As a leader in celebrating and promoting healthy body image, I must admit that I regrettably didn’t see this clip before it was released to the public. But on behalf of the Top Model team, these were not the intentions, and we truly apologize for any confusion, anger or disappointment it may have caused."

Well none of that matters now, because Ward won last night, receiving a $100K contract with Cover Girl. She says she used to be teased for being so skinny—bitch please. Nobody believes that story anymore!

"I haven't had anyone apologize to me or anything," she says. "But I have had a lot more friend requests on Facebook."

This should be really good for young girls’ body images. As if it’s not bad enough seeing how skinny celebs are, now it’s becoming the norm!

Tyra Banks has found herself on the receiving end of a very bizarre lawsuit! A woman named Beverly McClendon is suing the talk show host for $3 million after discovering her daughter appeared on her show, according to the AP.

15-year old Ciera Washington appeared on Tyra last October claiming to be a “sex addict,” which shocked the mother, who says she had no idea her daughter was appearing on the show.

Tyra Wants Your Money---Buy Her Book

McClendon is suing Banks for negligence and violating a right of privacy. She also claims her daughter hasn't even been diagnosed as a sex addict.

Stating McClendon "suffered damages as a result of the defendants' negligence," the court papers, filed Oct. 8, also allege the Atlanta-based mother "filed a missing person's report with the local police department" once she realized her daughter secretly fled her home.

Tyra Banks Gets Sued

McClendon says her daughter suffered damages because the 2009 show "was undoubtedly watched by sexual deviants, perverts and pedophiles."

The lawsuit seeks a jury trial and asks for $1 million in compensatory damages and $2 million in punitive damages. It also asks the court to bar the episode from ever being aired again on television or online.

Others who work for Banks on the show may be in jeopardy too—the suit claims the show didn't get permission from the labor commissioner to employ her and didn't get McClendon's permission before paying the girl to fly to New York, stay in a hotel alone and appear on the show.

A rep for Banks was not immediately available for comment.

This is super sketchy! We’re leaning towards siding with the mother on this one!
Whether you liked her or not, Tyra Banks isn't going anywhere!

Tyra is pulling the plug on her talk show, but it's only so she can concentrate on taking over the world. Aside from the bazillion projects she's currently working on, she's also planning on releasing a book. Why?

Tyra is going to release her first book, "Modelland," in the Summer of 2011 and her people are already busy spreading the word. And so is Tyra.

Tyra Banks Gets Sued

She wrote on her website, “Modelland has always been a part of my mind and my heart. As you might know, I step into a bookstore and I shake (really!) because I love books so much.

"Ever since I was a kid, I couldn’t wait to pick up a new book and see what worlds the writers had created for me. I especially loved books with strong girls and women – you know, girls with guts, smarts and attitude– and then one day it came to me… MODELLAND!

"I’m getting it ready for you through my new division called Bankable Books and now I’m shaking for a different reason… I’m excited that you’ll be able to read about this magical world that’s been living in my dreams for so many years.”

We already see enough of her, is a book really necessary? Will you buy a copy?
Tyra Banks is on the prowl for a whole new type of woman. She just announced on her talk show that she’s launching a nationwide search for plus-sized teen models. The contestants must be within the ages of 13 and 19 to enter, and, as Tyra put it, be “fiercely real.”

Tyra also explained that the models must have a dress size of 12 to 20 and stand 5'9"- 6'1" tall. Banks said the reason she wanted to launch this specialized search was because she was unhappy that the term "plus-sized" has such a "negative connotation" in today's society.

"I've always felt it was my mission to expand the narrow perceptions of beauty," she told Us Weekly. "Through America's Next Top Model, True Beauty and The Tyra Show, I challenge industry and universal standards by featuring and celebrating non-traditional beauty, and stressing that true beauty is both inside and out."

"I want young girls to realize that what's considered plus-sized is the average American woman," Banks said. "That woman is healthy, fit and beautiful. Adolescence is such an impressionable time in a young woman's life, and I hope this contest helps teen girls discover their own beauty from the inside out."

The finalists will be introduced on the March 2nd episode of the Tyra Banks Show and the winner of the Fiercely Real Teen Model Search will be crowned the following day. The winner will receive a one-year modeling contract and a spread in a major fashion magazine. More information here!
Apparently two Emmy's and millions of dollars aren't enough to make Tyra Banks stick around. The talk show diva just announced that this upcoming season will be her last.

“This will be the last season of The Tyra Show,” Banks tells People magazine. “I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years.”

The fifth season will wrap up in the spring of 2010, but it's not the end of Tyra. She will focus on the launch of Bankable Studios, a N.Y.-based film production company currently reviewing possible projects. Speaking of her new project, Banks says it aims to "bring positive images of women to the big screen,” says an industry insider.

“My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are,” Banks says.

Sounds like someone's following in Oprah's footsteps. And any step Oprah takes is a profitable one. Good for you Tyra! We were over the random period episodes she’s been having lately, so it’s a great time to throw in the towel.
Move over, Tyra Banks! Naomi Campbellis looking to steal your thunder! The supermodel is reportedly in talks to become a host of a reality modeling show that sounds an awful lot like America’s Next Top Model.

But Tyra shouldn’t be too threatened—Naomi’s show would air in the UK. According to The Daily Mail, she’s currently in negotiations to host an X-Factor style show. A source says, "Naomi has been approached with an offer, which we are talking about and discussing. An initial approach has been made. We are discussing that offer, but nothing is set in stone yet."

Naomi would play the same type of role as Tyra does here, coaching the amateur models through the process each week. We hear this is the same show Hollyscoop reported about earlier this year that involves Simon Cowell and his partner Sir Philip Green. We hear the show may also involve Kate Moss in some capacity.

While Naomi is a beautiful model, we hardly think she’s in a position to be providing advice for young impressionable models. Her behavior over the last few years has been outrageous! She’s not the best role model for these young women.
Now that Oprah is throwing in her hat as the queen of daytime, her position is up for grabs! There are a handful of other female talk show hosts—from Tyra Banks, to Ellen, to even Wendy Williams, but now one can come close to Oprah.

But Paula Abdul is reportedly ready to step up to the plate! She says she’s developing her very own talk show and would like to have it on the air within the next couple of years.

She tells Extra, “I have really great ideas. [My show] would be fun and quirky and it would be insightful. It would be fun to jam with the band and have amazing guests and introduce amazing different formats on the show.

Paula thinks she has what it takes to connect with her guest and with her audience members. "I feel I would be really good at it. I have the ability to connect with people on a level," Abdul explained. "I've proven to pierce the heartstrings, but also to be celebratory and bring out the best in people."

Despite wanting to go into the same line of work, Paula also maintains a high level of respect for Oprah and the empire she built after so many years on television. [Oprah] broke barriers and let the path for other women to be empowered." She added, "Like 'American Idol,' there's a place and time that makes history. That's Oprah."

Paula was a little kooky on Idol, and we don’t know how she’d do carrying her own show! What do you think?
Tyra Banks is all about changing up her look to look fierce, but we had to do a double take when we saw the pics from her Halloween special!

Today Tyra taped her Halloween show that will air tomorrow, and we hear she’ll be showing off three different costumes for the shoot! But the one that caught our eye in particular was the Kim Kardashian one.

That’s right, Tyra decided to channel America’s favorite reality show star for Halloween! We’re not sure Kim would agree with us, but Tyra sort of pulls it off! The voice needs a little work though…

Tune in on Friday, October 30th to see all three of the talk show host’s costumes, and watch the video below of Tyra Kardashian.
