Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail

'Knowing' must have known something everybody else didn't, because they rocked the box office this weekend bringing in $24.8 million dollars in it's first weekend.

The comedy 'I Love You, Man' came in at number 2 bringing in $18 million dollars, while 'Duplicity' rounded out the top three with $14 million. Here are the top ten movies from the March 20-22 weekend:

1. Knowing: $24.8 million

2. I Love You, Man: $18 million

3. Duplicity: $14.4 million

4. Race to Witch Mountain: $13 million

5. Watchmen: $6.7 million

6. The Last House on the Left: $5.9 million

7. Taken: $4.1 million

8. Slumdog Millionaire: $2.7 million

9. Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail: $2.5 million

10. Coraline: $2.1 million
Watchmen dominated the box office this weekend despite getting less than stellar reviews. The movie opened with $55.6 million dollars, talk about a great weekend!

There was a huge gap in between the number one spot and Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail, who took the number two spot bringing in $8.8 million dollars.

Rounding out the top three was Taken, who brought in $7.4 million. It was a pretty strong weekend for the movie, considering it's in its sixth week. Here are the top ten movies for the March 6-8 weekend:
