Charlie Sheen Praises Ashton Kutcher\'s TAHM Performance
I didn’t see that one coming. After pitting the “Two and a Half Men” premiere against Charlie Sheen’s Comedy Central roast last week, you would have thought that some ratings and comment war would ensue, but unfortunately…Charlie Sheen has only pleasant things to say about his old show.

While that’s all very nice, it makes for very boring tabloid fodder. Hey Brad Pitt, wanna say more things about Jennifer Aniston being boring? Please!!

Anyways, Charlie Sheen though the Season 9 premiere of TAHM was “terrific.”

“It was a big night for everybody on Monday night – for ‘Two and a Half,’ for us, for me. I think everybody won. I thought the show was really good. I thought [Ashton] was terrific,” says Sheen.

Charlie also praised his former co-star, Jon Cryer, who he once called a “troll” but apparently now he’s calling him “genius.”

“Jon is Jon. He’s a freaking genius. I think [the show has] got a real shot. It felt like a pilot. It felt like a really good pilot.”

Okay, it looks like it’s up to me to start some sh-t. Ashton Kutcher’s debut TAHM performance brought in 27.8 million viewers last Monday while Charlie Sheen’s comedy central roast only grabbed 6.4 million viewers.

However, it was Comedy Centrals highest rated roast of all time. Which isn’t surprising because some of the other roasts they’ve done have been for Bob Saget and David Hasselhoff and both those men give me the heebie jeebies.

Though Charlie tells Access Hollywood that it was weird watching his old show, “It was a little bizarre watching it, but yeah, for the most part I was really impressed with what they did.”

I’m sure it was bizarre watching TAHM as Charlie watched his own fake funeral.

“That’s got to be the highest attended funeral of all time,” he boasts.

Only Charlie Sheen would brag about his death.

“It’s interesting because I’m doing [a] film with Roman Coppola and there is a funeral scene in that. So I’m a guy that’s gonna have to survive my own funeral twice in the same year!”

Again, not something to be proud of.

Despite the TAHM drama, Sheen and Kutcher were spotted palling around backstage at the Emmys and tweeting photos together, so how are things between the two new bosom buddies?

“Oh, that’s between us. You know I can’t reveal everything. We’re just a couple of guys just shooting the sh-t, you know?”

And by couple of guys, he really means, an aging warlock and the newer hotter guy they got to replace him.
