Two And A Half Men

The people over at Forbes, who make a living by counting cash, have just put together a list of the top 10 most profitable shows on television. They measure “most profitable” as the shows that bring in the most ad revenue per half hour.

Some of these shows are a no-brainer, like American Idol, but others that made the list are surprising. Like “Mad Love,” apparently that was a show? On actual TV? In America?

The most profitable show is “American Idol.” It’s revenue for 2011 was down 6% from the previous year, but it still brings in $6.64 million per half hour.

TV’s 10 Most Profitable Shows.

10. “Modern Family” ($2.13 million per half hour)
9. “Mad Love” ($2.59 million per half hour)
I don’t know if you’ve seen Charlie Sheen lately, but he’s pretty normal now. It’s one year since he was a warlock with tiger blood and constantly talking off “winning.”

“They all talk about ‘tiger blood’ and ‘winning’ and everything. But no one talks about what I was so upset about,” says Sheen.

Actually, yeah, what was going on that made Sheen so crazy, aside from the drugs and the live-in prostitute stripper goddesses?

Ashton Kutcher might have saved Two and a Half Men after the crap storm Charlie Sheen caused, but will CBS bring him back? We still don't know for sure, but apparently, they're getting closer to inking a deal.

Insiders are saying that CBS has been busy negotiating with Ashton's camp. Kutcher is already rumored to be the highest paid star on a sitcom, raking in around $700,000 per episode.
Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre had this so-called brilliant idea to get Kathy Bates to play the ghost of Charlie Sheen’s character on Two and a Half Men. This was supposed to be both a) funny and b) an insult to Charlie Sheen.

I don’t know why that was an insult. What’s so bad about hiring a really talented well-respected actress
But…I thought he died!

Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre has plenty up his sleeve to revive the ratings of the Ashton Kutcher-version of the show. One of those tricks includes bringing back Charlie Sheen…sort of.

Oh, by the way--spoiler alert…but it’s kinda worth it.

CBS has announced that they’ve cast someone else to play the ghost of Sheen’s character, Charlie Harper.
After Charlie Sheen’s massive meltdown, ‘Two And A Half Men’ became much more than an entertaining sitcom. It became a headline that the public was fascinated with.

Hollyscoop caught up with Chuck Lorre, the creator of the show, at the 'Two And A Half Men PaleyFest 2012' event, and we asked what it was like replacing Charlie Sheen with Ashton Kutcher.

"It was a very steep learning curve because we had to kind of reinvent the show
Have you seen that trailer? Of course there are parties going on in there. That trailer was meant to be partied in.

Ashton Kutcher joined the cast of Two And A Half Men in Season 9, and his costars thoroughly enjoyed his company. The actor made quite the splash before filming even started, by showing up to the set with a massive trailer that looked more like a shopping mall than a vehicle.
Last week, Charlie Sheen actually called in to TMZ to reveal that he was “tired of pretending” and “tired of lying” and that he truly thinks that Ashton Kutcher “sucks” on Two and a Half Men.

I know, I was excited that warlock Charlie Sheen was back too.

So now, Charlie apparently feels really bad for being so rude, because he has those things, you know, feelings?
Charlie Sheen has obviously been sipping on the haterade post Two and a Half Men firing, he’s also been laying off the crack pipe because for the first time ever, he’s saying stuff that actually makes a lot of sense.

Charlie Sheen calls Two and a Half Men an awful show and that he could only tolerate being a “puppet” for show creator Chuck Lorre for so long and that they should axe the show all together because Ashton Kutcher and the cast “deserve” better.

I couldn’t have said it better myself. Whoever these 10’s of thousands of people...
Well, that didn’t take long. Since his decision to stop Tweeting, I guess Ashton Kutcher has some free time on his hands, so he’s spending it chatting up chicks.

And why the hell shouldn’t he? Ashton was spotted hanging out with three women in Berlin last night. He’s in Germany for work, reportedly researching a new business endeavor. And based on the photographs, it looks like that endeavor is plowing through as many women as possible.

The Two and a Half Men star was photographed having a close conversation with a young brunette woman over a glass of wine and a cigarette.
