Top Chef Padma Lakshmi is pregnant! And this isn’t just any regular pregnancy. According to her rep, Padma’s pregnancy is “nothing short of a medical miracle.”
The 39-year old host of the Bravo reality show has struggled with endometriosis for years, which is a condition that usually results in infertility. Earlier this year, Padma even co-founded the Endometriosis Foundation of America to bring awareness to women who suffer from the same reproductive health issue.
Her rep tells
Us Weekly, "Model, author, and Emmy-nominated Padma Lakshmi confirms that she is carrying her first child… As a result of her condition, this pregnancy has been referred to by her physician as nothing short of a medical miracle, and due to its delicate nature, we ask/implore the press to respect Ms. Lakshmi's privacy at this time.”
Padma has not yet revealed the father of the baby-- Online reports speculated that Manu Nathan is the dad, but her rep denies that, saying he's Lakshmi's cousin.
