Showtime’s' hit TV show The Tudors swept the Irish Film and Television Awards (IFTAs) on Sunday, winning a record-breaking total of seven prizes! Well deserved if you ask me.
The series won for Best Drama Series, while Jonathan Rhys Meyers was named Best Actor in a Television Drama Lead Role.
His co-stars Maria Doyle Kennedy and Nick Dunning won awards for best supporting roles, while the show picked up another three awards at the ceremony at Dublin's Gaiety Theatre.
