The Hills are still barely alive on MTV, but
Lauren Conrad has made it pretty clear she’s over reality life on MTV.
Lauren's contract expired last month, and just to make sure she didn’t have to be bothered with coming back to tape more episodes, the producers had her “act out” possible scenarios that might happen.
We knew the show was primarily acting, but this seems a little ridiculous!
Gatecrasher reports that the producers taped LC as much as possible before her time ran out.
The source says, “The producers would make Lauren react to a lot of potential scenarios, because they’re not yet sure how the finale will play out with the other characters.
"They would literally give her directions like, ‘Now react to Stephanie Pratt being pregnant!’ Lauren would just giggle and go for it. She also had to pretend to react to a fake story line about Audrina and Brody hooking up.”
Of course MTV denies the allegations, saying “We couldn’t cut a show with Lauren’s fake reactions.” Oh, wanna bet?? Either way, we’re glad Lauren’s finally make her grand exit from the show. Enough was enough already.
She’s good at designing, and should definitely stick to that. We’re just sad her line is on hiatus! At least without The Hills, she’ll have some time to focus!
