Last night, Bachelorette Deanna Pappas finally chose the man she wanted to be with. It was a tearful goodbye for contestant Jason Mesnick, who thought he was a shoe-in.

But in the end, Deanna picked professional snowboarder Jesse Csincsak. At the final rose ceremony, he got down on one knee and proposed, and she accepted.

The couple has also announced they plan on getting married in May 2009. If you missed the emotional finale last night, take a look at the clip! Do you think Deanna made the right choice?

Its all an artificial setting and anybody can think that they are in love, but in fact thats just illusions and it'll worn out eventually.

I don't feel bad for Jason. As DeAnna's friend pointed out, to have a small child in the mix will immediately move her life forward 5 yrs, and it's TRUE! Im glad she picked Jesse. Not the super duper best looking guy, but very charming & sincere. They can grow together as a couple & start a family when they are both ready.

I think DeAnna made the wrong choice based on what she said she was looking for and what she wants in the next few years. I think Jason should be the next bachelor. I was sad for him because I think DeAnna led him on.

In the end, DeAnna picked the snowboarder who pounded fists with her dad to cap off the conversation in which he grudgingly bestows his paternal blessing. Unfortunately, many in the audience fell in love with the other prince and his young child more than they did his would-be Disney princess. In the end, it seemed very wrong to drag a child through the ups and downs of a romantic comedy, strung along to the very end. As the primary caregiver for his son, Jason spent precious weeks away from him in fruitless pursuit of his princess; it's not the kind of heartwarming Disney ending for which we had hoped.
